OP Intercontinental Poetry Competition 2025 Announced: Exploring “The Impact of Chauvinistic Thinking”

November 2025 — The OP Intercontinental Poetry Competition 2025 officially opens its call for submissions, inviting poets from all continents to participate in this year’s edition under the thought-provoking theme “The Impact of Chauvinistic Thinking.”
Organized under the banner of Sociological Poetry, the competition aims to encourage poets worldwide to reflect on the social, cultural, and psychological dimensions of chauvinism in contemporary life. The contest is open to all writers except administrators and moderators, ensuring an inclusive and fair platform for creative expression.

Submission Guidelines

Entries must be submitted as a comment under the official competition announcement.

Each participant may submit only one poem.

Poets should indicate their continent and country above the poem title.

Poems must be at least 16 lines long and may be written in blank verse, free verse, or rhymed form.

Entries must demonstrate grammatical accuracy and proper punctuation.

Original work only — plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification.

The deadline for submissions is November 8, 2025.

Awards and Recognition
Outstanding poets will receive Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards, while all other qualified participants will be honored with Certificates of Appreciation for their creative contributions.
