Poets from 75 countries participate in the Global Poetry Action for Gaza

Poet Fernando Rendón, General Coordinator and Co-founder of the World Poetry Movement (WPM), announced that poets from 75 countries have confirmed their participation in the Global Poetry Action for Palestine, organized in solidarity with Gaza on May 15, June 28, and June 29, 2025. The number is open and it is expected to exceed 100 countries.

Vietnam, China, Palestine, Pakistan, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Iran, Indonesia, Malaysia, Jordan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Qatar, Iraq, Tajikistan, Brunei, Oman, South Africa, Egypt, Niger, Algeria, Morocco, Nigeria, Lesotho, Sao Tome, Togo, Sudan, Malawi, Reunión Island, Angola, Tunisia, Sierra Leone, Cameroon, Madagascar, Russia, Greece, Belgium, Scotland, Wales, Italy, Spain, Portugal, England, Turkey, Switzerland, Ireland, Azerbaijan, Cuba, Venezuela, Brasil, Costa Rica, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Bolivia, Martinique, Guyana, Peru, Barbados, Haiti, Puerto Rico, Panamá, El Salvador, Guatemala, Argentina, Paraguay, Honduras, Bolivia, United States, New Zealand, and New Caledonia.
