Poetry to Reconstruct the Human Spirit
Medellín, Colombia — [July 3] – For thirty‑five years the Medellín International Poetry Festival (FIPMed) has cultivated “an atmosphere for culture, for life, for intelligent and constructive coexistence.” In 2025 the Festival renews its founding vision under the banner The Iron‑Free Life Will Emerge: Poetry to Reconstruct the Human Spirit, affirming that world poetry can transform societies and kindle new collective thinking.
From audiences are invited to five public panels in which fifteen poets from four continents will tackle the most urgent questions of our era:

† The Festival will pay tribute to the late Colombian poet Duván Carvajal during Panel 2.
