UAE to Host Inaugural BRIDGE Summit

Global Media, Content & Entertainment Industries Converge in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, UAE — The United Arab Emirates will host the first-ever BRIDGE Summit, set to take place from 8 to 10 December 2025 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). Organised by the UAE National Media Office (NMO), the event is poised to become the world’s largest media, content and entertainment marketplace. 

The summit is designed to bring together more than 60,000 participants, featuring 400+ global speakers and 300 exhibitors, spanning seven major content tracks across a 1.65 million square-foot venue.  

Key objectives of BRIDGE Summit 2025 

Establish media and content as strategic national assets — “Content is the true capital of nations”.

Foster cross-sector partnerships and innovation across creators, producers, publishers, investors, regulators and technologists.

Create an open “laboratory” for emerging technologies, creative formats, immersive experiences and ecosystem-building.

Featured themes & programme highlights

The summit will cover a broad spectrum of media & entertainment sectors including music, film, television, digital platforms, gaming, immersive tech (AR/VR), and intellectual property-rights frameworks. It will host 200+ panel discussions, 50+ workshops, and myriad interactive sessions.  

Chairing the summit is Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, who serves as Chairman of the UAE National Media Office and the UAE Media Council. He underscores the event’s purpose as “a step towards building a shared global consciousness that recognises lasting influence of content on minds, markets and the future.”

BRIDGE Summit 2025 Announces First Wave of Global Speakers — Uniting Media, Content, and Technology Leaders in Abu Dhabi

The inaugural BRIDGE Summit, scheduled for 8–10 December 2025 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), has unveiled its first slate of high-profile global speakers. The event brings together creators, technologists, media executives, regulators, and storytellers to shape the future of media, content and entertainment 

The early speaker roster includes international voices whose work crosses media ecosystems, creative innovation and global culture. While a full list is being updated, early names highlighted by organisers include:

Wyclef Jean – Grammy-winning artist and global cultural influencer, Martin Sorrell – Founder of S4 Capital, pioneer in digital media and advertising, Nancy Gibbs – Director, Shorenstein Center at Harvard Kennedy School, expert in media and public discourse, Joanna Coles – Chief Creative & Content Officer, The Daily Beast; prominent leader in publishing and storytelling, Anthony Scaramucci – Founder & Managing Partner, SkyBridge Capital; media entrepreneur and commentator and Chris Pang – Actor and producer (known for Crazy Rich Asians), bridging entertainment and global culture. 

These speakers will engage across master-classes, fireside chats, workshops and immersive sessions aimed at redefining the power of media as a driver of influence, innovation and connectivity.

 BRIDGE Summit is the first-of-its-kind global platform uniting media, content and entertainment. Anchored in Abu Dhabi, the summit is powered by the BRIDGE Alliance, with support from the UAE National Media Office. It seeks to empower the next generation of storytelling, enable international collaboration and drive the media ecosystem into the future.
