Paris, France – June 2026 – Writer and editor Arwa Ben Dhia will be featured at the Salon du Maghreb des Livres 2026, taking place on Sunday, 28 June 2026, at the Hôtel de Ville de Paris. The event, which offers free admission to the public, will bring together authors, readers, and cultural figures in a celebration of Maghrebi literature and artistic dialogue.
As part of the program, Arwa Ben Dhia will host a special Carte Blanche session centered on the collective work Nos Muses les Murs (Our Muses, the Walls), a volume she directed and edited, with a preface by Alexandra Cretté. The discussion will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Salle des Fêtes (Stage Area) and will feature the participation of Diane Lotus and Emmanuelle Vanwinsberghe.

Following the discussion, Arwa Ben Dhia will meet readers for a book-signing session from 1:45 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. in the Salle des Fêtes Library, offering an opportunity for literary exchange and personal encounters with the author.
Through Nos Muses les Murs, the event highlights the power of collective creativity and the capacity of literature to transform walls into spaces of memory, inspiration, and dialogue. Arwa Ben Dhia’s participation in the Salon du Maghreb des Livres reaffirms the festival’s commitment to promoting cultural diversity and strengthening literary connections across the Mediterranean and beyond.
The Salon du Maghreb des Livres 2026 once again positions Paris as a vibrant meeting place for voices from the Maghreb and the wider Francophone world, where books become bridges between cultures, experiences, and generations.
