Moscow, Russia — The World Organization of Writers (WOW), in strategic alliance with the Assembly of the Peoples of the World, proudly announces the commencement of preparations for the 2nd World Congress of Writers, to be held within the framework of the World Public Summit on September 20–21, 2025, in Moscow.
Building on the powerful momentum of the 1st Congress, held in Abuja, Nigeria (2024) under the distinguished patronage of the Pan African Writers Association (PAWA), this upcoming gathering continues WOW’s visionary commitment to uniting the creative minds of the planet. Once more, the literary world prepares to come together — this time at the crossroads of continents and cultures — to reaffirm the voice of literature in shaping a shared global future.
Margarita Al, President of WOW, shared in her opening message:
“We continue our mission with confidence, inviting all who give shape to words and worlds. The Moscow Congress will be a space for live dialogue, deep reflection, and the collective imagining of the future of world literature.”
