The. Launch of “Vietnam–New Zealand Poetry Anthology 2026” and “Odyssey Asia” Volume 3
Hanoi, Vietnam — April 21, 2026 — A distinguished literary gathering took place at the Vietnam Security Publishing House in Hanoi, marking the launch of the “Vietnam–New Zealand Poetry Anthology 2026” alongside a welcome ceremony for New Zealand poet Christine Chen. The event brought together more than 60 writers, poets, and artists from various provinces, reflecting a vibrant spirit of international cultural exchange.
The ceremony was honored by the presence and contributions of Lieutenant General and writer Huu Uoc, as well as literary figures including Lôi Vũ and Kieu Bich Hau, whose efforts were instrumental in organizing and supporting the event.
In parallel, the occasion also celebrated the launch of “Odyssey Asia” Volume 3, a publication showcasing the works of 12 writers from across the region. Among the featured contributors are Kieu Bich Hau of Vietnam, Vo Thi Nhu Mai of Australia, and Christine Chen of New Zealand. The editorial leadership of Nurul Hoque was recognized with appreciation, along with congratulations extended to all participating writers for their contributions to this significant literary project.
A keynote speech was delivered by Huu Uoc, who also serves as Editor-in-Chief of the People’s Public Security Newspaper, highlighting the importance of literature in fostering cross-cultural understanding and dialogue.
