Mexico City — Mexican poet Marlene Pasini marks a remarkable week of international artistic engagement, uniting poetry, music, and environmental awareness through a series of distinguished cultural events spanning Mexico and Italy.

At the forefront of these achievements is her participation in the newly published Italian poetry anthology “Innesti Umani” (“Human Grafts”), a work dedicated to the urgent global theme of climate change. Curated by renowned Italian poets Emanuela Rizzo and Luca Ariano, the anthology brings together leading contemporary poetic voices of Italian origin. Pasini contributes her poem “Tempo per vivere” (“Time to Live”), a powerful and timely call urging humanity to embrace responsibility toward Mother Earth and to confront the environmental challenges shaping our collective future.

Simultaneously, Pasini was honored with an invitation from Irish cultural figure Dr. Stephen Murray to attend a prestigious concert in Mexico presented by Arts Musik, under the direction of German conductor Kathie Barrow. The evening featured a celebrated performance of The Four Seasons by the legendary Venetian composer Antonio Vivaldi, offering audiences an immersive artistic experience.

The concert was distinguished not only by its musical excellence but also by a sophisticated digital performance that accompanied the orchestra—showcasing evocative Italian landscapes, scenes of nature, and visual tributes to Vivaldi’s life. The presentation highlighted the spiritual and poetic dimensions of the composer’s work, reflecting his early vocation and the profound artistic sensibility that shaped one of the most iconic compositions in classical music.
This cultural moment resonated deeply with Pasini, inspiring reflections on her own literary and artistic journey in Italy. She recalled her visits to Venice and Rome, as well as meaningful encounters in Parma with fellow poets and colleagues, including Emanuela Rizzo, Luca Ariano, and Alberto. Among the highlights of her international career is the prestigious recognition she received in Caserta, Naples—The Grand Awards to Excellence, Tra le Parole e l’Infinito—honoring her outstanding contribution to contemporary literature.
Through these interconnected experiences, Pasini continues to embody the role of a cultural bridge, linking Latin American creativity with European literary and artistic traditions. Her work reflects a deep commitment to environmental consciousness, intercultural dialogue, and the transformative power of art.
Reflecting on this vibrant period, Pasini shared a message that captures the essence of her philosophy: “Life is only a moment—one must live it intensely.”
Her recent engagements reaffirm the importance of global artistic collaboration and the enduring relevance of poetry and music as universal languages capable of addressing the most pressing issues of our time.
