Proyecto Gulliver is an educational and poetic journey inspired by the travels of its literary namesake. The project fosters early literary engagement, intercultural awareness, and poetic freedom by taking international poets into public schools and underserved communities in and around Medellín.
Organized by the Medellín International Poetry Festival and the World Poetry Movement (WPM), with support from the Mayor’s Office of Medellín, Revista Prometeo, and the District of Science, Technology and Innovation, Proyecto Gulliver affirms poetry’s enduring role in cultivating creativity, empathy, and global citizenship.
