المأساة في غزة
1
أنقاض البكاء
تفوح منها رائحة عيون الموت.
أنقاض الأب المنهار
تحمل عظامًا
تتكاثر في شوارع الكارثة.
ورفات الأم
تعلّق ابتسامة مصلوبة على أهوال
تصبغ دماء الضحايا.

المدينة فضاء جحيمي
حيث يتنفس الموت
دخانًا نفثته قنابل المحتل
مُدمِّرةً صمت طيور غزة.
3
صمتُنا هو العار
لأننا لا نسمّي الأشياء بأسمائها:
تواطؤ في الإبادة الجماعية.

The debris of weeping
Has the smell of death’s eyes.
The debris of the fallen father
Has bones
Multiplying through the streets of disaster.
The debris of the mother
Has a smile crucified over horrors
That paint the blood of the fallen.

The city is an infernal space
Where death
Breathes the smoke blown up by occupying bombs
Destroying the silence of the Gazan birds.
3
Our silence is the shame
Of not naming things for what they are:
Complicity in genocide.

Los escombros del llanto
Tienen el olor a los ojos de la muerte.
Los escombros del padre caído
Tienen los huesos
Multiplicando por las calles del desastre.
Los escombros de la madre
Tienen crucificada la sonrisa sobre los horrores
Que pintan la sangre de los caídos.

La ciudad es un espacio infernal
Donde la muerte
Respira el humo socavado por las bombas ocupantes
Destruyendo el silencio de las aves gazaties.
3
Nuestro silencio es la vergüenza
De no nombrar las cosas por lo que son
Complicidad del genocidio.
