“The Birds Die in Galilee”

This poetic gathering commemorates 77 years since the Nakba—the forced displacement of the Palestinian people in 1948—and marks 19 months since the beginning of the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
In the spirit of resistance, remembrance, and artistic solidarity, poets, artists, and community members will raise their voices for justice and peace, using poetry as a powerful tool to denounce violence and call for the dignity and liberation of Palestine.
Join us in this global poetic movement echoing across continents, demanding an end to occupation and genocide. Your presence matters.
