Taiyuan, China / Cairo, Egypt – July 28, 2025 – Beiyue Literature and Art Publishing House Co., Ltd., based in Taiyuan, China, has officially entered into a copyright authorization agreement with Egypt’s Silk Road Literature Series of Al-Nasher Publishing House, Egypt, for the Arabic translation and publication of the acclaimed work “The Epic of Eurasia” (ISBN: 978-7-5378-5499-3).
Under this agreement, Beiyue Literature and Art Publishing House, the copyright holder and original publisher of the work, has authorized Al-Nasher Publishing House to translate, print, publish, and distribute Arabic versions of the book in all Arabic-speaking countries and regions. This agreement represents a significant cultural collaboration bridging East Asia and the Arab world.
The key provisions of the agreement include:
- Al Nasher is granted the right to translate The Epic of Eurasia into Arabic and distribute it in both paperback and hardcover forms for a period of five years. The publisher must complete the Arabic edition within 12 months, ensuring a faithful and accurate rendition. The manuscript will undergo a review by Party A or an appointed expert within 14 days.
- Author Participation: Renowned writer and translator Mr. Ashraf Aboul-Yazid will translate the work and provide the translated manuscript to the printing press free of charge. He may also publish select excerpts in reputable cultural outlets.
- Royalty-Free Public Benefit Project: Given the different market contexts of both parties, the project is established as a non-commercial, public welfare initiative, and no royalties will be exchanged.
- Copyright Acknowledgment: Each printed copy will feature full attribution to the original copyright holder and publishing partners.
Author of “The Epic of the Eurasia”; “Cao Shui, said: My Epic of the Eurasia has been translated into English by American poet George Wallace, into Italian by Italian poet Lamberto Garzia, and is currently being translated into Spanish by Cuban poet Yasef Ananda and Chilean poet Roberto Aedo. Egyptian poet Ashraf Aboul Yazid is also translating into Arabic, and translations into Russian, Korean, and Bengali are also under negotiation.
