Murad Al-Sudani nació en Jerusalén, Palestina, el 23 de junio de 1973. Es poeta, ensayista, profesor universitario, crítico literario y editor. Culminó estudios sobre Literatura Árabe en la Universidad de Birzeit, donde obtuvo también su maestría en Estudios Árabes Contemporáneos. Es jefe de Edición de la Revista Los Poetas publicada por la Casa de la Poesía Palestina, editor principal de la Revista Aqwas, que agrupa a las voces jóvenes, también es editor principal de la Revista de los Prisioneros. Actualmente es el secretario general de la Unión General de Escritores y Literatos Palestinos, y vicepresidente de la Agrupación Internacional del Libro en Rusia para las relaciones árabes, africanas y latinoamericanas, la cual agrupa a 54 Uniones de Escritores en Rusia y el mundo. Por 10 años presidió la Casa de la Poesía de Palestina y fue secretario general del comité nacional palestino para la educación y la Cultura. Ha publicado en poesía: Ragbot; Señales del narciso (2002, al-zehira); La mañana del bache; La lámpara en la altura; y, El lugar de los ciervos. En crítica literaria publicó: Soy quien ha visto (artículos en la cultura palestina 2009). Es Premio Internacional de Poesía Martín Secoro, Italia, 2017. Pertenece al consejo central de la Organización por la Liberación de Palestina.

Murad Al-Sudani was born in Jerusalem, Palestine on June 23, 1973. He is a poet, essayist, college professor, literary critic and publisher. He completed studies in Arabic Literature at the University of Birzeit, where he also obtained his Master’s in Contemporary Arabic Studies. He is the chief of the Edition of the Poets Magazine published by the Palestinian Poetry House, chief editor of the Aqwas Magazine, which groups young voices, is also chief editor of the Prisoners Magazine. He is currently the Secretary General of the General Union of Palestinian Writers and Literature, and Vice-President of the International Book Group in Russia for Arab, African and Latin American Relations, which brings together 54 Writers Unions in Russia and the world. For 10 years he presided over the Palestinian Poetry House and was the General Secretary of the Palestinian National Committee for Education and Culture. Has published in poetry: Ragbot; Signs of the Narcissus (2002, al-zehira); The Morning of the Pothole; The Lamp in the Height; and, The Place of the Deer. In literary critic published: I am the one who has seen (articles in Palestinian culture 2009). It is Martin Secoro International Poetry Prize, Italy, 2017. Belongs to the central council of the Palestine Liberation Organization.
