The agreement establishes a bilateral cooperation platform designed to facilitate smoother market entry and collaboration for companies and organizations in both countries, reflecting the growing scope of Korea–Egypt economic and industrial relations. Under the MOU, AGLC will provide Korean companies and KEDA members seeking to enter the Egyptian market with legal guidance and access to relevant local networks, while KEDA will leverage its extensive private-sector, institutional, and academic connections to support practical cooperation initiatives.

Founded in Egypt in 1996, AGLC is a leading law firm specializing in intellectual property, international arbitration, and corporate, commercial, and investment-related legal services. KEDA, a non-profit incorporated association established in 2016 under the supervision of Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, is dedicated to promoting friendship, economic cooperation, private-sector exchange, and public-interest activities between Korea and Egypt.

Both parties emphasized that cooperation will be based on mutual benefit, with any specific legal services or commercial arrangements to be executed through separate written agreements, ensuring professional independence while enabling results-oriented collaboration.
