Ghanaian International Journalist, Dela Ahiawor Inducted into Academy of Farsala Global Cultural Network

Ghanaian International Journalist, Dela Ahiawor has been inducted into the distinguished and scholarly Global Cultural Network of the Academy of Farsala in Greece.
His induction to the Academy of Farsala’s Global Cultural Network of “World Circle of Friends” was officially confirmed on March 23, 2026 by renowned Greek Professor and author, Yannis Fikas, Founder and President of the Academy of Farsala in Greece.
Notably, Mr. Dela Ahiawor is the only member of the distinguished and scholarly ” World Circle of Friends” from Ghana, among over 400 members across the globe. The Circle of Friends reflects a vibrant mosaic of global talent.
Dela Ahiawor, is a Ghanaian international journalist with over two decades of experience. He has succeeded in carving a niche as Sustainability Editor- focusing on sustainability/ climate related journalism since 2011. He has reached the Olympics, as an accredited journalist- a long-held dream. And the first to develop a beat on Green Sports (Sustainability in Sports) anywhere in Ghana and Africa since 2011, dedicated to promoting the sustainability development goals (SDGs).
He is the West Africa Bureau editor for the Congress of African Journalists (CAJ) International Magazine. Besides, he is the West Africa Vice- president of the Congress of African Journalists (CAJ).

Dedicated to education and cultural dialogue, the Academy offers specialized courses in primary schools, gymnasiums, and lyceums, focusing on ancient civilizations—including Egypt, Greece, Italy, Iran, India, China, Japan, Mexico, and Peru—as well as the evolution of philosophy from the Presocratics, Socrates, Plato, and Epicurus to the Stoics, Marcus Aurelius, Neoplatonism, and Renaissance thought. Through its digital platform, Academy of Farsala website, students, members, and visitors are invited to share content on archaeology, ancient theatre—highlighting Aeschylus and Sophocles—philosophy, Renaissance art, galleries, William Shakespeare, opera, Richard Wagner, poetry, and classical music.
