Astana, Kazakhstan — The International Center for Public Diplomacy (ICPD), in cooperation with the Public Diplomacy Network (MSND) and partner organizations, has officially announced the VI International “Literary Asia” Competition 2026, to be held in Astana, the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The competition is dedicated to two important milestones: the 35th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the 90th birthday of the renowned Kazakh poet, writer, and public figure Olzhas Suleimenov.
International Literary Platform
The competition welcomes submissions from writers and poets around the world in multiple languages, reflecting the cultural diversity of Asia and beyond. Works may be submitted in:
- Kazakh
- Russian
- English
- Spanish
- Chinese
- Turkish
- Arabic
- Hindi
- Other languages
The initiative aims to strengthen cultural dialogue, promote literary creativity, and encourage mutual understanding among peoples through literature and the arts.

Awards and Recognition
Participants will compete for prestigious honors, including:
- Grand Prize (Gold Medal)
- First-Degree Diploma
- Second-Degree Diploma
- Third-Degree Diploma
The organizers noted that the competition is being held in celebration of Kazakhstan’s 35 years of independence and Olzhas Suleimenov’s 90th anniversary. Winners will receive international-standard diplomas and commemorative awards.
International Art Competition
In parallel with the literary contest, the organizers will also hold the IV International Artists Competition, providing visual artists with an opportunity to showcase their creative works. Winners of the art competition will receive valuable awards and recognition.
