Maldives Sports Minister and Indonesia’s NOC Stand Behind 100 CTFP for Para Athletes

Malé, Maldives — 5 October 2026 — Support for 100 CTFP (100 Celebrities Talk for Para Athletes) continues to reach new corners of the world, bringing messages of encouragement from prominent figures to para athletes on their journey to the Asian Para Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026.

At a special send-off ceremony for the Maldives para-athletes, held at Youth Hub on Lily Magu, Malé, the 100 CTFP cards were presented to athletes as personal messages of support from figures across the sporting and international community.

The gathering was attended by H.E. Abdulla Rafiu, Minister of Youth Empowerment, Sports and Fitness of Maldives, H.E. Ishigami Rumiko, Ambassador of Japan, and Aishath Nazhath, President of the Maldives Paralympic Committee.

Two Maldivian athletes, Abdul Razzaq Abdul Samad and Fathimath Ibrahim, received 100 CTFP cards during the ceremony.

“It is truly remarkable to see the National Paralympic Committee of Maldives embrace and appreciate the 100 CTFP programme,” said Natalia Tjahja, creator of 100 CTFP.

Ahmed Mohamed, Secretary General of the Maldives Paralympic Committee, also expressed his support for the initiative, including the vision of connecting para athletes with the distinguished figures whose messages are carried on the 100 CTFP cards.

At its heart, 100 CTFP is about creating a meaningful connection between para athletes and people from around the world who recognise the strength, courage and determination behind their journeys.

From Indonesia, support has also come from the National Olympic Committee of Indonesia (NOC Indonesia) under the leadership of Raja Sapta Oktohari, with messages from sporting figures including Richard Sam Bera, Indonesia’s legendary swimmer, and Krisna Bayu, Indonesian Olympic judoka.

The programme has also welcomed international personalities, including Alessandra Giannetto, the young Italian-Croatian tennis player; Preity Zinta, one of India’s leading Bollywood actresses; and CMDM, the South Korean music group.

For Natalia, the support of Minister Abdulla Rafiu represents a significant moment in the journey of 100 CTFP.

“Minister Abdulla Rafiu can be regarded as the first Sports Minister in the world to support the 100 CTFP programme,” Natalia said.

Her visit to Maldives was equally personal.

“I had never been to Maldives before, but now I feel that God has arranged for me to have a new family here — the Maldives Paralympic Committee,” Natalia said.

From one athlete to another, from one country to the next, 100 CTFP continues to carry a simple but powerful message:

One Heart, One Family, Through the Message to the World.
