An International Poetry Anthology Brings Voices from Around the World Together in Australia

Multicultural Press Inc. Announces the Publication of a New International Poetry Anthology Celebrating Family, Reunion, Cultural Diversity and the Universal Spirit of Belonging

A new international poetry anthology, A Season of Togetherness, A Celebration of Belonging, has been published in Australia in 2026 by Multicultural Press Inc. through INNER PC. Bringing together poets from different continents, cultures and literary traditions, the collection celebrates the enduring human connections that unite people across geographical, linguistic and cultural boundaries. Through poetry, the anthology explores family memories, reunion, affection, shared experiences, cultural identity and the profound human desire to belong.

Presented under the evocative subtitle A Season of Reunion, Countless Family Memories, the anthology offers a literary gathering in which individual voices become part of a wider conversation about humanity. Its central themes resonate with the experiences of families and communities everywhere, recalling the importance of togetherness, the warmth of familiar places, the continuity of memory and the emotional bonds that survive distance and time. The collection invites readers to discover how poetry can transform personal memories into universal expressions of love, connection and belonging.

The publication reflects an international collaborative effort, bringing together established and emerging literary voices from Asia, Africa, Europe, Australia, the Americas and the Caribbean. Its contributors represent a remarkable diversity of cultural backgrounds, demonstrating the capacity of literature to create meaningful connections beyond national borders.

The anthology is led by Vo Thi Nhu Mai, Editor-in-Chief and English translator, whose editorial and translation work provides the collection with an international literary framework. Nelly Vee serves as International Guest Editor, contributing to the anthology’s global perspective, while Dao Hong Tu coordinates the poetry in Vietnamese, strengthening the linguistic and cultural dimension of this collective publication.

Among the international contributing poets are Alexandra Cretté (France–French Guiana), Ashraf Aboul-Yazid (Egypt), Cao Shui (China), Dimitris P. Kraniotis (Greece), Iakovos Theras Karamolegkos (Greece), Juan Garrido Salgado (Adelaide, Australia), Julie Miles (United States), Gassanee Thaisonthi (Thailand), Liu Xongpo, Mark Macleod (Tasmania, Australia), Marcos Freitas (Brazil), Nandita Samanta (India), and Nelly Vee (Virgin Islands), alongside a substantial gathering of Vietnamese poets.

The Vietnamese contributors include Bang Ai Tho, Aquarius, Cao Tien Do, Chung Le, Dang Ngoc Thang, Dang Tien Thai Nguyen, Dang Viet Thy, Dao Hong Tu, Dung Thi Van, Ha Vu Giang Chau, Hoai Huyen Thanh, Hoang Uyen Van, Huong Huyen, Do Kim, Kieu Hue, Lam Bang Phuong, Le Hoa, Le Huynh Dieu, Le Minh Quoc, Le Phuong, Le Trieu Hong Linh, Le Viet Buong, Minh Loan Reciting Poems, Minh Quang, Ngoc Du Pham, Nguyen An Binh, Nguyen Minh Quy, Nguyen Ngoc Giao, Nguyen Ngoc Hung, Nguyen Thanh, Nguyen Thi Hong Linh, Nguyen Thi Huong, Nong Quy Quy, Pham Thanh Nhan, Pham Thi Bich Quyen, Nguyen Thi Hieu Hao, Ngo Ngo Nghenh, Nguyen Phuong, Nguyen Phi, Nguyen Nguyen Phuong, Nguyen Thi Anh Hong, Nguyen Thien Phuong Thu, Nguyen Van Khanh, Quynh Tien, Thanh Trac Nguyen Van, Thao Linh Chi, Thinh Le, Thuy Son, Thy Nhan, Tinh Thanh Van, Tran Lan, Tran Huong Giang, Tran Loan, Tran Quoc Vinh, Tran Thi Kim Cuc, Tran Thi Thuy Vy, Trinh Trinh, Truong Ngoc Thanh, Van Anh, Vinh Nguyen, Vo Thi Nhu Mai, Vo Thi Quynh, and Vo Van Thanh Do.

The inclusion of poets from such diverse backgrounds makes this anthology more than a collection of individual literary works. It becomes a meeting place for different sensibilities, experiences and poetic traditions. While each contributor brings a distinctive voice and cultural perspective, the shared themes of family, memory and belonging provide a common emotional foundation.

The publication also highlights the importance of literary translation in expanding the reach of poetry. By bringing works into English and incorporating Vietnamese poetic contributions, the editorial team builds bridges between languages and readers, allowing literary expression to travel beyond its original cultural environment.

For Ashraf Aboul-Yazid, the Egyptian poet, novelist, journalist and translator participating in this international collection, the anthology represents another meaningful encounter between literary cultures. His participation continues his engagement with international literary exchange and the conviction that translation and poetry can give human experiences new lives across languages and borders.

Published by Multicultural Press Inc., a registered Australian business based in Dianella, Western Australia, the book carries ISBN 978-1-923709-09-6 and has a catalogue record available through the National Library of Australia.

With its guiding message, One Season, a Gathering, a Familiar Path, the anthology celebrates the idea that belonging is not confined to a particular homeland, language or generation. It is also created through shared stories, remembered moments and the voices that bring people closer together.

A Season of Togetherness, A Celebration of Belonging stands as an invitation to rediscover the universal language of poetry: a language in which many cultures meet, countless memories find expression, and humanity recognises itself in the experiences of others.
