“Russian Cosmism. Memory”: Alexandra Ochirova Presents Her Multilingual Book at the First World Public Summit in Amman

AMMAN, JORDAN – November 9, 2026 – A special literary and philosophical event will take place at the First World Public Summit: Arab World with the presentation of “Russian Cosmism. Memory,” a book by Alexandra Ochirova, an internationally recognized cultural figure and public diplomacy leader.

The presentation is scheduled for November 9, 2026, from 18:00 to 19:00 at Signia by Hilton Amman, bringing together intellectuals, writers, cultural representatives, and international public diplomacy leaders to explore the philosophical and cultural dimensions of Russian Cosmism.

The author, Alexandra Ochirova, is Co-chair of the Supreme Consultative Council of the World Peoples Assembly, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, and a member of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO. Her work reflects a longstanding commitment to international cultural dialogue, intellectual exchange, and the promotion of shared human values.

A Book Connecting Languages and Civilizations

Published in three languages — Russian, Arabic, and English — “Russian Cosmism. Memory” opens its intellectual and cultural vision to readers from different linguistic and cultural backgrounds.

The multilingual publication represents an important contribution to cultural exchange, making philosophical ideas and Russian intellectual heritage accessible to a wider international audience. Its presentation in Amman, at a gathering dedicated to dialogue, cultural heritage, and partnership for a common future, highlights the role of books and translation in connecting civilizations.

Russian Cosmism is an intellectual and philosophical tradition concerned with humanity’s relationship with the universe, the future of civilization, scientific knowledge, memory, and the moral responsibilities of human beings. The book’s title invites reflection on memory as an essential dimension of cultural identity and the transmission of intellectual heritage between generations.

International Moderators

The presentation will be moderated by two figures whose professional backgrounds bring complementary perspectives to the discussion:

  • Andrey Yavny (Russia), Advisor to the Chair of the General Council of the World Peoples Assembly, writer, and Doctor of Philosophical Sciences.
  • Ashraf Aboul-Yazid (Egypt), writer, poet, translator, and researcher of cultural heritage; Secretary-General of the Congress of African Journalists and Vice-President of the World Organization of Writers (WOW).

Ashraf Aboul-Yazid’s participation brings a literary, journalistic, and intercultural perspective to the event. His longstanding engagement with translation and international literature reflects the importance of making intellectual and cultural achievements accessible across linguistic boundaries.

Literature as a Bridge for International Understanding

The presentation of “Russian Cosmism. Memory” forms part of the First World Public Summit’s wider programme, which emphasizes the importance of cultural heritage, international dialogue, and cooperation among peoples.

By presenting the book in Russian, Arabic, and English, the event demonstrates how multilingual publishing can serve as an instrument of cultural diplomacy, allowing ideas to travel beyond national borders and encouraging meaningful encounters between different intellectual traditions.

The gathering in Amman will therefore be more than a conventional book presentation: it will provide an opportunity to discuss the relationship between philosophy, memory, cultural identity, and the shared intellectual heritage of humanity.

Through this initiative, Alexandra Ochirova’s book contributes to the Summit’s vision of strengthening mutual understanding and building bridges between nations through culture, literature, and the exchange of ideas.
