LITERATURE AS A SOURCE OF SPIRITUAL BEING
By Eldar Akhadov

I once wrote: “Man, as a source of spiritual being, is the main reason for the starry sky.” From the source of spiritual being comes the light of spirituality contained in the Word, just as from the source of light comes the light intended for perception by all the senses of other creatures capable of perceiving the world. Throughout the time that we exist and perceive ourselves as people, we ask ourselves the same question every hour: why do we live if the end of any life is death and non-existence? What is the meaning of life if any life eventually ends, disappearing once and for all? That is true if you are not a source of spiritual being. Pay attention to the stars. Their light, spreading throughout the Universe, is able to be perceived by our organs of vision across any abyss of years. There is no longer any star, and the galaxy in which it once existed also does not exist, but the light continues to rush to an unknown destination in the boundless space! Light is alive. Light has no shadow, just as there is no death. Recently, physics professor Vitaly Vanchurin made a discovery: the whole world is a neural network, and man is not the pinnacle of evolution. It is generally accepted that the Universe strives for entropy. However, this desire for disorder for some reason does not lead to simplification, but to the constant complication of the Universe. A certain algorithm or energy of the Universe learns and makes the world more and more complex. Matter, teaching itself, began to transform from inanimate to living. Quantum physicists believe that the term “living” can be used to refer to everything in the Universe – stones, stars, everything in general. Nothing inanimate exists in the world. The Universe evolves to know itself. The scientist’s reflections end as follows: “Relatively recently, physics painted us a boring world. Length, width, height, linearly flowing time. Then time turned out to be relative, and space – curved. Then it was revealed that there is nothing definite and precisely fixed around us. Today we understand that the world is actually even more fantastic; more than science fiction writers can imagine…”
Regarding another mind in the Universe: this mind has existed on Earth for billions of years, but – does not have anthropomorphic features. This Mind is water. It is inside us, and outside. It is in gaseous, liquid and solid states. It pours on us and falls as snow. We drink it. We walk and drive on it. We cannot exist without it. It has memory and feelings. It does not need food. It can be evaporated, but it will return. Divided into tiny drops, it is able to unite at any convenient moment and form a single global ocean. At the beginning of the Bible it says, “Now the earth was formless and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” The Spirit of God is upon the face of the waters. In literature, in creativity in general, in culture – as a source of spiritual existence – our salvation.
