LA PRIMAVERA HUMANA
Nació en Marruecos en 1965. Ha publicado los libros de poemas: Semillas del silencio, de la piedra y el grito, 2002; Más allá del olvido, 2005; y Libro de los secretos, 2017. Pertenece a la Unión de Escritores de Marruecos. Es Licenciado en Literatura Árabe y Profesor de Cultura y Lengua Árabe.
Su poesía se entrelaza con la mística sufí. Ha sido arrestado en numerosas ocasiones por su compromiso social y político. Distinguido hispanista, ha traducido al árabe, entre otros, a Antonio Machado, Federico García Lorca Rafael Alberti, Juan Gelman, Antonio Gamoneda y Andrés Sánchez Robaina y tradujo al español al gran poeta sirio Adonis. Obtuvo el Premio Rafael Alberti de Poesía de la Consejería de Educación de la Embajada de España en Marruecos, 2003, y el Premio Internacional de Literatura Árabe Ibn Arabi 2017. Pertenece al Comité Coordinador del Movimiento Poético Mundial.

Born in Morocco in 1965, he has published the poetry collections: Semillas del silencio, de la piedra y el grito (Seeds of Silence, of Stone, and the Scream), 2002; Más allá del olvido (Beyond Oblivion), 2005; and Libro de los secretos (Book of Secrets), 2017. He belongs to the Moroccan Writers’ Union. He holds a degree in Arabic Literature and is a professor of Arabic Language and Culture. His poetry is intertwined with Sufi mysticism. He has been arrested numerous times for his social and political commitment. A distinguished Hispanist, he has translated Antonio Machado, Federico García Lorca, Rafael Alberti, Juan Gelman, Antonio Gamoneda, and Andrés Sánchez Robaina into Arabic, among others, and translated the great Syrian poet Adonis into Spanish. He won the Rafael Alberti Poetry Prize from the Education Department of the Spanish Embassy in Morocco in 2003 and the Ibn Arabi International Prize for Arabic Literature in 2017. He is a member of the Coordinating Committee of the World Poetry Movement.
