Pulse Exhibition – Forms & Colours IV Opens at Passion Art Gallery

Passion Art Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of “Pulse” – Forms & Colours IV, a group exhibition that brings together four distinctive artistic voices: Jaida Y. Zakaria, Wafa Nashashibi, Hala Noaman Ashour, and Zeina Soliman. The exhibition opens on Sunday, December 28th, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM, at the gallery’s space in 23 Yehia Ibrahim Street, Zamalek, Cairo.
“Pulse” explores the dynamic relationship between form, color, emotion, and lived experience. Through diverse visual languages—ranging from expressive abstraction and semi-figuration to layered, tactile surfaces—the exhibition reflects the inner rhythms that shape human perception, memory, and identity.
Jaida Y. Zakaria, an electrical engineer turned visual artist, presents works driven by emotional resonance and chromatic balance. Since beginning her artistic journey in the 1990s, Zakaria has developed a practice that transforms feelings and ideas into immersive visual experiences. A member of the Fine Arts Syndicate, she has exhibited widely in Egypt and internationally, including multiple editions of the General Exhibition at the Palace of Art and the Salon d’Automne in Paris.
Zeina Soliman, a semi-figurative artist and recent graduate of Central Saint Martins (UAL), investigates intimacy, touch, and material memory through ethereal landscapes and layered surfaces. Her practice bridges painting with fashion, interiors, and design, expanding the canvas into lived and functional spaces.
Wafa Nashashibi uses color as a primary vehicle for expressing human emotion and shared experiences of injustice and suffering. Her compositions carry a vital, flowing pulse, balancing freedom, risk, and harmony, and inviting viewers into reflection and contemplation.
Hala Noaman Ashour, an artist and writer, brings a multidisciplinary sensibility to her visual work. Drawing from her experience in writing articles, plays, and television scripts, she weaves multiple artistic influences into a distinctive visual language.
Together, the artists of “Pulse” create a rich dialogue of forms and colors that move beyond aesthetics, offering viewers an engaging and thoughtful encounter with contemporary artistic expression.
