This is how the history of world literature is written on the pages of the World Organization of Writers “WOW”.
We have walked the path of ten years in one breath, as if in a single burst of creative brotherhood, where the word becomes the key to understanding, and literature becomes a bridge between cultures and destinies.
Today we accept literary works in six languages, and that is why the winners of the WOW Prize are authors representing different continents, different traditions, different epochal meanings, but united in their desire for light and goodness.
Our Laureates are writers who have not deviated one step from the true purpose of the word. Their work is evidence that literature is able to preserve a person’s spiritual strength even in the most difficult times.
They come from different countries, but they are united by one mission.: to affirm the value of humanism, beauty and truth. Each of them responds to the main challenge of the 21st century in his work.: how to preserve a man within a man, how to preserve our planet, our only home for all!
Today we congratulate our Laureates, the authors whose work has become a guiding light for world literature, and whose names are forever inscribed in the history of the World Organization of Writers “WOW”.

Today, the WOW Award is available in six languages. Its laureates are writers whose work brings light and beauty.:
1. Luis Carlos Ribeiro Prestes, Brazil — for a brilliant novel about the history of the country and for a unique journey of 24 thousand kilometers in the footsteps of the Prestes Column.
2. Xi Ke, China — for poetry that combines modernity and the memory of the past of a great country.
3. Kurnia Suprihatin, Indonesia — for poems that sound the pain and joy of all mankind, and the main motto of our time: “We are people of the same planet.”
4. Ibrahim Istanbuli, Syria — for his excellent translations of Russian literature into Arabic.
5. Valery Baydin, France — for the truly French light style and deep philosophy of books.
6. Lidia Grigorieva, Russia — for the fire of the Russian Word, preserved in every line and presented to the world.
It’s not just talent that unites them. They are united by our common motto: ✨ We are people of the same planet. ✨
These are the words that were first heard in 2016, and today have become the anthem of world literature.
The World Organization of Writers “WOW” grew out of the idea of uniting writers from different countries into one family. And today there are 160 countries in the world. Over the years, the organization has become a global literary platform, a place where new meanings are born and a humanistic ideal is affirmed.
We are opening the way for a global literary dialogue, creating a space of cultural unity, inscribing the names of the Laureates in history, but most importantly, we are showing that the word can transcend boundaries and differences.
This is the essence of our mission.: to build bridges between people so that literature becomes the voice of humanity.
With respect
President of the World Organization of Writers WOW
