زانا كوفن (الاسم الكامل: زانكا زانا بوشكوفيتش كوفن) وُلدت في سراييفو، لكنها تعيش في إيطاليا منذ أربعين عامًا. تكتب القصائد، والهايكو، وأشكالًا أخرى من الشعر الشرقي القصير، بالإضافة إلى القصص القصيرة وكتب الرحلات، كما أنها ناقدة أدبية، إذ تخرجت في تخصص اللغات والأدب. تكتب بأربع لغات ولهجتين، وقد ألفت أربعة كتب بلغتها الأم الكرواتية، وكتابًا واحدًا بالإيطالية، وآخر بالإسبانية، وستصدر قريبًا أولى كتبها باللغة الإنجليزية.

حصلت على العديد من الجوائز والتكريمات المرموقة، وقد تم تقديمها في منشورين أحدهما في أستراليا والآخر في الهند. وفي عام 2019، نالت جائزة فريدة من نوعها من نقاد الأدب الإيطالي في مدينة ميلانو. وفي عام 2024، أُدرج اسمها ضمن قائمة “خمسين امرأة لا تُنسى في أوروبا”. تنشر أعمالها في العديد من المنصات الإلكترونية، وظهرت نصوصها في العديد من الأنطولوجيات الأدبية الدولية، وقد تم اختيارها مجددًا في عام 2025 للانضمام إلى أنطولوجيا المؤلفين الإيطاليين المعاصرين للمرة الثانية. زانا كوفن أيضًا رسامة مبدعة، وعازفة ساكسفون متمرسة.

Zana Coven ( full name Zanka Zana Bošković Coven) was born in Sarajevo but has been living in Italy for 40 years now. She writes poems, haiku and other short oriental poetry forms, short stories, travel books and she is also a literary critic being graduated in languages and literature. She writes in 4 languages and 2 dialects. She wrote 4 books in her mother tongue Croatian, one in Italian, one in Spanish and soon will be published her first book in English. She got many prestigious prizes, recognitions, she is portrayed in two publications, in Australia and India. In 2019 she got a unique prize from Italian literary critics in Milano. In 2024 she was included in 50 memorable women of Europe. Many portals publish her works and many international anthologies published her works, in 2025 she entered an anthology of Italian modern authors for the second time. She is also a flourish painter and experienced sax player
