Fourteen National Paralympic Committees and MSN Malaysia Support 100 CTFP

Like a federation, 100 CTFP is rapidly expanding worldwide. Not only has it received support from 660 global figures, but it is also supported by 14 National Paralympic Committees and MSN (Majlis Sukan Negara) Malaysia.

Shukri Hasan, representing MSN in paralympic affairs, said that the 100 CTFP (Celebrities Talk for Para Athletes) program is simple, but deeply touches the hearts of para athletes.

“The program is simple, but it really touches the hearts of para athletes. I am also happy to see the para athletes so happy to receive the 100 CTFP cards. This becomes a booster for them for the Asian Para Games Aichi-Nagoya.”

The happiness was evident at an event held at the MSN Paralympic Complex in Kampung Pandan. Nur Asyku Zaimi, who had just won the Boccia Champion BC3 title in Seoul, felt that her victory became even more complete when Natalia Tjahja, creator of 100 CTFP, approached her and presented her with a card containing a message from a global figure.

“I am truly so happy. I received a special message through a 100 CTFP card from Mr. Andrew Parsons. He is an extraordinary person in my heart.”

Meanwhile, Malaysian para-swimmer Abd Halim bin Mohammad said, “I am deeply touched to receive a message through a 100 CTFP card from artist Gladys Lazarus. It matches my journey in Paralympic sport. This card motivates me to win a medal at the Asian Para Games in Nagoya.”

One athlete even called out to Natalia, “Mam, if I win a medal, Marcelino Lefrandt, whose name is on my 100 CTFP card, will meet me if I go to Indonesia, right?”

“All the para athletes, leaders and coaches are also happy with the 100 CTFP cards,” said Natalia Tjahja, creator of 100 CTFP.

From the Philippines National Paralympic Committee, Secretary General Godofredo “Goody” Custodio sent two photos of Philippine para-swimmers Ernie Gawilan, who has won many gold medals, and Muhaimen Ulag, a contributor of silver and bronze medals. He expressed his happiness at seeing both athletes so happy and enthusiastic to receive their 100 CTFP cards.

At the Maldives National Paralympic Committee, the delivery of the cards was positively received by Secretary General Ahmed Mohamed. He said they are waiting for the schedule of an event with the Minister of Youth and Sports to gather the athletes and distribute the 100 CTFP cards.

Similar support came from Lt. Col. Deepal Herath, President of the Sri Lanka National Paralympic Committee.

“The 100 CTFP program is very good for para athletes, and I support it.”

From the Singapore National Paralympic Committee, Secretary General Leslie Lee sent a photo of himself together with Boccia champion Aloysius Gan, who received a 100 CTFP card.

Naiyanobh Bhirombhakdi, President of the Thailand National Paralympic Committee, has given full support to the distribution of 100 CTFP cards to Thailand’s national para athletes.

Natalia said that she is currently waiting for decisions from several other National Paralympic Committees. There has also just been confirmation from the China Hong Kong National Paralympic Committee supporting 100 CTFP.

100 CTFP gives idols to para athletes whose lives have been filled with training and competitions. And there is also the Father of 100 CTFP worldwide, Andrew Parsons, President of the IPC.
